Joss graduated with a degree in Fine arts in Valencia, Spain. He has been improving his skill working as a cartoonist, illustrator, painter, sculptor, animator (traditional and stop motion), photographer and graphic designer. Using these disciplines as the medium of expression depending on the situation.
Joss has a fascination with the human being and its behaviour and focuses on catching the moment in real life.
By his artistic concern, he has been researching pictorial process through non-conventional materials for many years using chlorine bleach on pigments and organic fabrics to get different colours and tones.
In 2016 he moved to Southampton and is now a resident artist at The Arches Studios.
Joss also collaborates with the theatre and dance company TodoArt13, leading Life Drawing events and forms part of several groups of Urban Sketchers in the UK.
Joss has always combined his career as an artist with his teaching experiences, teaching both children and adults in main stream as well as special need difficulties, such as ADHD, ASD and Down’s syndrome creating Art Therapy Projects.’
